Post 97 – God Can Even Things Up -Part 2

Hello!

Last week I explained how much we can accomplish in life- even when we start out lacking in support and direction. God can even things up if we pick up His instructional manual to life.

Some of the most profound experiences in life simply can not be learned through human knowledge. A human being can point you to the amazing things of God, but unless you take the time yourself to develop a relationship with the Lord by reading the Words He left for us- we won’t experience any of His profound blessings, and we will be in the dark.

Darkness is the secular world- the place of the devil. Satan doesn’t want us to understand how powerfully God can work in our lives. He wants to keep us searching for anything other than the Lord to satisfy our needs. He wants us distracted with the cares of life so that we don’t have time to sit down with the Bible to gain the wisdom of God. He knows that if we understand how supernaturally God can work in our lives we will find out that we can change our lives through the Holy Spirit and live a life on a  higher level.

“To the person who pleases him, God gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness, but to the sinner he gives the task of gathering and storing up wealth to hand it over to the one who pleases God.” (Ecc 2:26)

Satan wants to rule the world. He is no more than a power hungry fallen angel whose desire is  to keep people from worshiping his all time rival- Jesus Christ. Every negative aspect of life is from the devil’s influence.

“Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.”(1 Peter 5:8)

The problem is that Jesus already defeated Satan’s schemes when He rose from the dead. Not only that, He left all believers part of himself-the Holy Spirit- who indwells us. We learn through the Spirit that we are never alone and that we will be able to overcome every problem by living as God instructs and claiming the promises in the Bible.

God redeemed us like a coupon and this allowed His life to pay the price for our mistakes. He then can make over our lives if we allow Him full access to every decision. If we do- our lives become a walking exhibit of His power.

There is simply nothing more worthy of your time than digging into the Bible as if to find hidden treasure. Because that is exactly what you will find if you are sincere and diligent.

“Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.”(Jer 33:3)

“I will give you the treasures of darkness And hidden wealth of secret places, So that you may know that it is I, The LORD, the God of Israel, who calls you by your name.”(Isaiah 45:3)

I will end with a poem I adapted from David R. Hawkins M.D. PhD:

The skillful are not obvious,

they appear to be simpleminded

Those who know this

know the patterns of Wisdom

To know Wisdom is to have Power

This Power moves all things and is called God.

Have a wonderful Bible reading week!
