Post 149 Those Who Love The Lord Are Safe

Hello,

As we daily see the death toll from the Corona Virus rise, many are becoming more fearful. Not only that, the lack of income for many of us can overwhelm a person if they do not have a relationship with the Lord.

Psalm 91 shows how the Lord protects, rescues and honors people who have taken Him as their Lord and Savior. If you have never done that- many Christian pastors ask us to recite a prayer like the one below:

“Lord Jesus, I repent of my sins, I am turning away from all that is displeasing to you and asking you into my heart to be my Lord and Savior.”

All pastors and  people who consistently read the Bible, know that the most important and powerful thing we have is our relationship with the Lord. When we commit to obeying God we receive blessings like those mentioned in Psalm 91- a psalm very appropriate for this pandemic!

“He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust. Surely He will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge…. You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. If you make the Most High your dwelling…no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent. For He will command His angels concerning you, to guard you in all  your ways….”because he loves me, says the Lord, I will rescue him, I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name….I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.

May God continue to Bless all of my readers,
